Lifestyle blogger, quilter, fabric designer, running a business from home mom Rosekelley presents ten patterns with an accompanying 4 pillow designs using precuts. There is a chapter on basic skills including tools and terminology and another on finishing and binding. For the most part the examples are pleasingly made up in fabric patterns that don’t bring to mind stereotypical categories, instead the fabrics used showcase the quilt patterns so that they will appeal to any and all. While not always necessary, there are no difficulty or skill levels noted. The typeface is a bit small and fine, might be hard for some to see but the technique illustrations and side bar tips should be helpful. I would have liked to see some more information on how much yardage you’d need to cut the equivalent pre-cuts called for. This one is a middle of the stack title, maybe check it out of the library to see how many of the projects you like, then decide whether or not to add to your shelf.
